A local Jersey City, New Jersey, woman was in the news after stabbing a man multiple times in February 2022. The 28-year-old defendant was arrested on September 14, 2022, in Hudson County, where she was transported to jail.
The victim, a 29-year-old Jersey City male, was allegedly stabbed by the defendant multiple times on February 9. He was transported to the Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. While he was released shortly after, he returned to the hospital on July 9th due to complications from the stabbings. He stayed in the hospital until July 16th, when he died from stab wounds.
The defendant was previously charged with criminal assault, possessing a weapon, and possessing a weapon in the commission of a crime. Because New Jersey charges are dependent on the outcome of the crime, the defendant’s charges were upgraded after the stab wounds led to death.
